Program Abstract
This module presents model policies, practices and procedures for key topics in the traffic incident response and management process, from pre-planning to incident response and through to investigation and post-incident analysis.The topics covered include: pre-planning, incident detection, advance warning and driver notification, PPE/high visibility compliant apparel, emergency lighting, safe parking/blocking, lane +1, move it or work it, communications protocols, traffic incident management at signal-controlled intersections, training, investigation practices, and post-incident analysis.
